speedstars has extensive character customization. From look to costumes and accessories, players may create their sportsmen in their own manner. The race will commence with the character at the starting position waiting for the starting pistol to fire. Using the arrow keys—left and right to move each leg, up and down to change the body tilt, and over hurdles or gain momentum—players control the athlete. Every action calls for great accuracy to maintain a consistent pace and prevent loss of momentum.

Every run becomes more exciting and realistic because of the physics-based gaming mechanics. While watching their location relative to rivals on the map, players must always regulate their endurance using the green bar at the top of the display. Key elements of winning include keeping a consistent pace, understanding when to slow down to recuperate and when to go all out for the last sprint.
